This patient had an unusual amount of fat deposited in her upper arms. She underwent liposuction of the upper arms in conjunction with removal of some skin (note the hidden scar in the armpit). With more minor amounts of fat deposits in the arm, an armpit incision or minibrachyplasty is typically not required.
